Made from pre-coated “Hot Dipped Tinned” brass to BSEN1652-CW508L (Was known as CZ108 brass to BS2870:1980) i.e 63%Cu, 37%Zn. (Melting range is approx 905-930 ℃)Tin coating is 100% tin, x 1.5/2 Microns thick.
Electro Tin Plated
The Brass is 0.25mm thick to BSEN1652-CW508L (Was known as CZ108 brass to BS2870:1980) i.e 63% Cu, 37%Zn The tin plating is to BS1872:1984 Service condition 1 (0.5 Microns thick).Melting range is approx 905-930 ℃
Aluminium
Aluminium to BS1470 5251 H22 (was SICH4 to BS1470) 0.5mm thick (The melting range is around 625 degrees C) 12% Nickel Silver NS104 soft to BS2870:1980 61% Cu, 12% Ni, 27% Zn X 0.28/0.32mm thickMelting range of Nickel Silver is 1020-1035 ℃ (about the same as that of copper)
